can you show a defensive scheme with the titans pb, one that includes a formation where you can get both inside and outside heat. for those guys that can beat the coverage in a 44.

That's the beauty of the 4-4 you can disguise pressure and bring it from either A gap or both C's!

The tenn d guide will be out soon!

I'm really enjoying playing in leagues that have fantasy drafts. I'd like to know your strategy for selecting a team.

Who would you draft 1st?
Who would be your diamond(s) in the rough?
What positions do you feel you can get away with having low rated players?
Would you load up on offense, defense or try to have a good mix of both?

how soon should you run your offensive scheme in a game? should you run it every down, mixed in with other formations (that are not in the scheme) or at specific times in specific situations?

1. What is an defensive scheme with the steelers defense?

2. Can you use Big ben and Dennis Dixion in a scheme together to better your offensive game plan with the Steelers?

What are some of your favorite hidden gem players on a team?

For example, I play with the falcons...

Lawrence Sidbury - Looks like a pretty mediocre player at first, but looking over he's like 6'3 with 84 speed and 86 jumping at DE. He's a beast. Runs down tosses, gets to the qb, pretty good in coverage.

Kroy Bierman - Zone coverage that rivals most linebackers and safeties. I use him at DT to sometimes drop back and defend the pass.

John Parker Wilson - Bum 3rd string QB, 70 speed, 70 carry. I throw him on the goalline to run my qb sneaks.

I know you guys have already talked about Ramses Barden on the Giants, everyone knows Cook Jr. on the titans, etc. Got any other obscure players that will change your game?

Gems are Sgibs specialty. Expected a lightning round with our top 5-10 gems each!

People haven't talked much about the Run' n' gun playbook, but i went through it and it looks pretty good. Any suggestions on good formations in this book?

The west coast book is full of quick passes. Its my primary book I run out of this book maybe twice a game. with the short passes u don't need too run. If u are on ps3 I will lab it with you.

Man with purple. Or put the outside cb on purples. 115-cover 2 sink works well using that setup. Or u can use what gibs did 3-4 normal 2 deep mlb spy. he ran it in a twim episode when someone tried to use it against him.

Why won't anyone make a guide that explains how you can read Cover 2, Cover 3, and Cover 4 in each formation?

3-4:
If Zone, ask these questions:

Are both CBs looking directly at WR? Yes. = Cover 2 or CB Blitz

No.

Is one CB looking directly at the WR in front of him and the other one is looking at the QB? Yes. = Cover 3 - Note: The Safety that is on the side in which the corner is looking at the WR, is in a hook zone. The other safety is in a deep zone.

No.

Are both CBs looking at the QB? Yes. = Cover 4 OR Both CBs are in Buzz Zones .. like 2 Deep MLB Spy, OR Sting Pinch Zone..

I know it seems a little farfetched, but why not study this to eliminate what coverages they could be using?

I haven't even begun to look at safety depth and such..

Cover 2: CBs are trying to press so they are about 2 yds from the WR.
Cover 3: CBs are in deep zones so they need to get back so they don't get beat, so about 4 yds from the WR.

What is the best way to utilize all 6' 7'' of jarvis moss on the broncos. Also, what D pb would you recomend for them. Also, how would you setup their D depth chart. I see so much talent, but am so unsure how to utilize their great D. I personally like mcbath as a user. Also, do you recomend putting shefler (the TE) @ wr so he can be used in rc situations. I personally find that marshall, is the overal best reciever in madden, and once i get a few rcs and some short passes so he can get a few yac, it opens up screens to royal, draws to moreno and so on. Is this the type of style you'd recomend with this team?

IPIRIEY, the Broncos are my favorite team. I used to use them but I switched to the Eagles because of the speed.

QB: Orton, Brandstater
RB: Hillis, Buckhalter, Jordan, Moreno
FB: Jordan, Graham, Quinn

WR: Marshall, Royal, McKinley, Buckhalter, Moreno, Stokley
TE: Scheffler, Graham, Quinn

LE: Moss, Thomas Smith
RE: Ayers, Peterson, Thomas
DT: Holliday, Peterson, Thomas

LOLB: Woodyard, Hill, Haggan
MLB: Williams, Dumervil, Moss, Haggan
ROLB: Bruton, Hill, Ayers

CB: Bailey, Goodman, Barrett, McBath, Law
FS: Dawkins, Barrett
SS: Smith, Hill, Law

In a tournament that setup wouldn't be legal because I have a SS at ROLB, but you can sub him our and put Moss or someone..

Honestly, I would put Moss at D-line, he can reach higher because of his height of course, so he can knock down some balls. He only has 79 speed, so he's not fast. That's why I hesitate to put him at a starting position. What I did do though is put him at a backup LB position to fill in when my LBers were tired.. He's a great guy to user because of his height.

lol I believe you are missing a key player to user.. That's Brian Dawkins. He can cause fumbles. I've learned so much since I stopped using the Broncos.. I wanna go back because I miss my team and I think I could do good with my scheme..

I would use the NE offensive playbook, and NYJ defensive PB.. NE offensive playbook caters to Eddie Royal because of his small but quick frame. He can get those slot screens and take them for big yards. You got Marshall on the sideline doing some RCs.. The biggest downside is Knowshon Moreno's carry rating. In my depth chart you'll notice I start Hillis over Moreno.. Hillis = 87 speed, 87 carry Moreno = 88 speed 75~ carry
His fumbling became a big hassle. I used to not be able to overcome fumbles.. I'm feelin confident I could use Moreno and still win though.. for 3rd downs you got Buckhalter.. giving Moreno some rest.

Also, replace the RBs at WR with other WRs or use packages that allow RBs lol. I forgot I have them at RB. Buckhalter did some stuff like that when he was in Philly with Westbrook =P.. I put McKinley at #3 because he's got 90 speed. He may seem bad, he has a low OVR, but when you can run away from people, it helps a lot.

What do you look for when creating a nano from scratch? Is it the blitzing angles, the combination of blitz with the zone, etc. ?

What play do you recomend for f@g D in 1-5-5. I bring tons of pressure with it, but I can never mis it up with some all out coverage. Do you guys know any great ways to play f@g D with it. I notice that when a guy gets a long period of time in the pocket, and has good pocket prescence, they can pick apart what I use for my 1-5-5. I've also played some guys that have very good max pro schemes, which causes them to be able to rc on my nanos/overloads. A few tips on 1-5-5 would be much appreciated.

IPIRIEY, I do cover 3, then I put the two OLBs doing flat zones into buzz zones, then I QB spy the blitzing MLB.

How can I utilize the 46 Bear formation from the 46 playbook. Also, can audibling from quarters or the 46 speed package make this even better?

What is your setup in the nickel 155 and 3-4 A Gap nano? Do you look for pure speed or block shedding at the ILB spot for A Gap nanos? For instance, would you place your best block shedding backer regardless of speed as the main A Gap nano? Or do you look for speed over block shedding ability when using a A Gap nano?
